Help Corey Atchison Get Back on His Feet

Corey Atchison spent 28 years in prison for a crime he did not commit. He was finally freed of his nightmare and reunited with his family in July 2019. Corey's family never gave up on his innocence and continued fighting for him throughout his prison sentence, including his brother, Malcolm Scott, who faced his own wrongful conviction in an unrelated case. Corey's release meant that he could finally be the father and grandfather he was never given the chance to be, since his daughter was born after his arrest. Like many others who have been wrongfully convicted, Corey has faced many struggles since his release. But Corey is an incredibly hard worker and is determined to create a good, stable, healthy lifestyle for himself.  Corey spent the summer attending school to improve his employment opportunities. While he fortunately was able to land a wonderful new job, the time he spent unemployed over the summer set him back financially. Unlike most of us, one of Corey's greatest joys is being able to pay his bills. He could really use your help to get him back on his feet so he can continue to look forward towards his bright future! If there is anyone who is deserving of our help and support, it's Corey. His smile can light up any room. And for someone who spent nearly 30 years in jail for something he didn't do, Corey has more grace and kindness than anyone else. He truly holds no bitterness for the wrongs that have been done to him. Please consider donating whatever you can to help Corey!
