Help Corey and Miranda Overcome Crisis
Donation protected
On May 8th, Corey suffered a massive stroke and was rushed to the ER. Once he arrived at the hospital, they found that a blood vessel in the left side of his brain had burst, which caused a large blood clot. The doctors performed surgery Wednesday night/Thursday morning to remove the pressure from his brain and remove the clot. Corey remained sedated for over a week to assist with the healing process.
As of May 17th, Corey is breathing on his own. He is still in and out of consciousness, but things are moving in the right direction. His blood pressure is not quite under control and he is still in pain. He cannot speak or move the right side of his body. There is a LONG road of recovery in his future.
Miranda has not left his side, helping to ensure he is comfortable and cared for. As a result, Miranda has not worked in almost two full weeks, leaving the couple with no income and the impending stress of hospital bills. Corey is the type of person to always put others before himself and approaches every situation with a positive outlook. Corey and Miranda are such a loving couple; it’s time for us to show them that same love by supporting them during this difficult time. Any amount of money that you could give would be appreciated and would be put towards Corey’s medical care and healing process.
