Help Corey and Kimberly Rebuild After Fire
On October 11th, 2024, Corey and Kimberly Johnson's master bedroom and office were consumed by a fire. They lost everything in there, including all of their clothing and electronics. Luckily no one was hurt and their family of 5 (including their dog Bam Bam makes 6) and the space is currently uninhabitable. Their family has lived in that house for over 70 years and they have been relocated to a safe location.
Corey, Kimberly and their whole family have hosted an annual Halloween celebration since 9/11/2001. So for 23 years it is the highlight of Berkeley High alumni and their kids. Kimberly states, " my husband started this tradition because he saw a news article stating kids just need to be kids post 9/11. Many of those children have brought their children to our festivities. Our goal is to rebuild and return to our home. We appreciate any type of assistance as we move forward in the process."
Please consider a donation to my dear friends, they are my family. Their daughter, son and granddaughter need their home. Thank you and it would be greatly appreciated.
