Help Corbin Adams Heal After a Traumatic Brain Injury & ICU Stay

I Dan Stoddard, Grandfather of Corbin Adams, will be receiving the funds on behalf of Corbin Adams to manage his funds for his medical expenses as he has a traumatic brain injury. Corbin Adams a kind-hearted and hard-working young man from Hayfork, CA, has always been someone you could count on. Whether it was through his job at the Hayfork Feed Store or his past service with the local volunteer fire department, Corbin has consistently shown up for others, with humility, strength, and a quiet sense of duty.

Every year, Corbin looks forward to fire season, proud to support and protect his community and traveling to protect others. But this week, everything changed.

Corbin suffered a traumatic brain injury. He was rushed by Trinity Ambulance and life-flighted to a trauma center, where he was placed in the ICU under the care of four specialized medical teams, including neurology. He was diagnosed with a brain bleed and severe brain swelling.

Thanks to swift medical intervention and Corbin’s fighting spirit, he survived and is now home on strict bed rest as he begins the long road to recovery. Though he’s no longer in the ICU, he faces months of healing, with limitations on his activity, ongoing therapies, and an uncertain timeline for returning to work.

Corbin is unable to work during this time and will miss the fire season he always looked forward to. His family is doing everything they can to support him, but the financial burden is heavy.

As part of his healing, Corbin’s visitors and phone calls are being limited to avoid stimulation of his brain. While we know many people want to reach out, we kindly ask instead for prayers, hugs from afar, and positive thoughts during this time. Your love and support mean the world; even from a distance.
