Hi, my name is Evetta Bailey, and I’m raising funds for my Grandma, Cora Caldwell.
On December 28, 2025, her home was severely damaged when a tree fell through the roof, leaving the house unsafe and unlivable. This was the only home she had, and she shared it with her two adult children who are disabled, for whom she is a full-time caregiver.
To make this even more devastating, my grandma lost her husband last Christmas after 67 years of marriage. He was her life partner, her support, and her help. She has been grieving that tremendous loss, and now—just one year later—she and her children have lost their home as well.
Unfortunately, the home was not insured, leaving no coverage for repairs, cleanup, or temporary housing. In a matter of moments, they lost their safety, stability, and sense of security, with no financial safety net to fall back on.
The funds raised will go toward emergency housing, debris removal, critical home repairs, and replacing essential items needed for daily living. This support will help my grandma and her children begin to rebuild during one of the most difficult seasons of their lives.
Any donation—no matter the amount—will make a meaningful difference. If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping my grandma and her children in your prayers. Thank you for your love, kindness, and support.
