Fundación Coquena: A Story of Hope and Urgent Need

Fundación Coquena is facing one of the most difficult moments in its history after the devastating earthquake that recently struck Colombia.

More than 450 rescued and vulnerable animals depend on the foundation for food, shelter, medical care, and protection. Many of these animals have nowhere else to go and are already facing a severe shortage of food and essential supplies.

Now, the situation has become even more urgent. The land where the animals currently live has been requested back, and the foundation has been given only two months to vacate the property. This means that hundreds of animals could soon be left without a safe place to live.

The founder of Fundación Coquena, Claudia Sánchez, has dedicated herself to saving and caring for these animals. Day after day, she does everything possible to find enough food to feed them and obtain medicine and veterinary care for those who become sick or injured.

Despite the enormous challenges, Claudia continues fighting for every animal in her care. But she cannot do it alone.

Fundación Coquena urgently needs support to provide food, medicine, veterinary care, and, most importantly, a safe new place where these 450+ animals can live.

Every donation, no matter the amount, can make a difference. Your support can help put food in a hungry animal’s bowl, provide medicine to an animal in need, and give these animals the safe and loving home they deserve.

Today, Fundación Coquena is asking for your help. Together, we can give these animals hope and a second chance at life.
