What are we doing and why should you donate?
Hi! We are Copilot.
As some of you may know, 2025 was a really exciting year for Copilot as a band which included:
- A bucket list performance at Boston Calling Music Festival,
- 2 EP’s: Vroom Vroom, etc. with 4 brand new songs and Live From Boston, with 6 live recordings from our headline show at Brighton Music Hall, both of which were mixed and produced by our good friend Shaqed Druyan,
- headlining Brighton Music Hall AND Paradise Rock Club,
- our very first tour as a full band,
- starting a regular series on social media where we hit the streets every Tuesday night to serenade strangers in Boston,
- opening up for the Gin Blossoms,
- being interviewed and performing on CBS Boston / WBZ News’ The Remix,
- Grammy Consideration for Best Pop Group Performance for “Let Me Down”,
- sharing the stage and singing with Josh Ritter @ House of Blues in Boston
We have been filled with so much joy this year and we are truly so grateful for the support of our fans, friends, and families. We wouldn’t be where we are without their help. So thank you to each and every one of you!
We are very excited to announce that we’ve been currently working on our next full-length album to be released later this year.
We’ve been writing and recording with some of the best of the best. Tracking is being done at FarmView Studio with the legendary Bill Ryan (Aerosmith, Boston) and The Bridge Sound & Stage with the incomparable Arcitype. Shaq is back again to steer the production ship as well! We’re collaborating more than ever with other songwriters we admire such as Adam Zelkind & Warren Sellers. All in the hopes of bringing you Copilot’s best album yet!
For an independent band like ourselves, making a record is a big financial undertaking but with your help we know we can reach our goal: creating and delivering what we know will be our best body of songs to date.
We want this record to be yours as much as it is ours. Here is exactly where the funds go:
Studio Tracking: $500/day (or $900 for a 10-hour block) to get the best takes in professional rooms.
The Mix & Master: $600 per song for that radio-ready, professional polish.
Physicals: $3,000+ for the Vinyl pressing and custom album merch.
The Reach: $250–$500 per song for Spotify Marquee and marketing to make sure these songs find a home.
Any amount helps and would mean the world to us. Thank you for reading and considering.
Love,
Maggie, Ry, Jake, Bev, Dyl, & Jack
Who is Copilot?
Copilot is a dynamically fun Rock-Pop band from Boston, MA that was formed in 2018. Maggie Hall, Ry McDonald, Jake Machell, Dylan Allwine, Austin Beveridge, and Jack Snow met between high school/college in Massachusetts and Vermont, often crossing paths while performing in their own musical projects. After coming together for an unplanned house party performance, the group decided to team up and ride together.
The powerful triage of singers drive the band’s sound. Maggie, Ry, & Jake’s unique voices create a blend of harmonies with depth & character that propels an electric live performance. The always oscillating 3 lead singers allow Copilot to travel all over the emotional spectrum, creating a myriad of musical ideas. The group's sound is centered by the rhythm section of Bev (bass), Dylan (drums) and lead guitarist, Jack. The backing trio provides Copilot with an upbeat bounce & steady groove that locks in the band’s signature retro rock-pop style.
