Hi everyone! Our sweet 4-year-old guy, Cooper (also known as Coopie or Cooperino), has recently eaten something that hasn't been able to pass. As a member of our family and our silliest head of security, we know the only way forward is to get him the surgery he needs to remove the obstruction and get him back to his happy, goofy self.
Since the day he came home with us, he's always made it known how much love he has for our family—showing love through his barks of excitement when we he knows we've gotten home, pressing his weight onto us affectionately with big pats and tight hugs in return, or in the way he gently rests his head on our legs as we eat. Having seen him in pain the past few days and not being his usual energetic self has been heartbreaking but we are hopeful that this procedure will help him get back to his dorky self in no time.
Unfortunately, the surgery and associated medical costs are more than we can handle alone. We would be so grateful for any support—whether it be through a donation, share, or sending good thoughts Cooper’s way. Every little bit helps us get closer to making sure our sweet Cooperino gets the care he needs. Thank you all for taking the time to read this and for all the kindness.
