Cooper’s UGA fund

As many of you know I am obsessed with my 5 year old cocker spaniel, Cooper! If you really know us you know he’s been through it these last 6-7 months!
Back in October I was dog sitting and Cooper got into a little kerfluffle with the other dog. It was so short lived and more Cooper being a brat than anything, so I didn’t even think to check his skin for any punctures. Fast forward a couple weeks and my dog is leaking something. So to the vet we go, he ended up needing to be sedated and the wound cleaned, biopsied, and stitched. It was deep and there was a lot of necrotic tissue. He had stitches, a cone, a worried mom and vet. He recovered from it beautifully!
Flash forward to the end February: have to take him back to the vet, emergency appointment, he had a fever, his breath smelled so bad and he almost bit me trying to check his mouth and he’s NEVER done that. So my vet thinks it’s an abscessed tooth so he gets on the books for a dental and possible tooth extraction. Teeth were all fine and he had a wound in the back of his mouth that had already cleared up slightly in the three days of antibiotics before the dental.
Then flash forward a couple weeks end of March and he has this almost pimple like mass in his lip. So back we go to the vet. Whole sedation process again. And more antibiotics to hopefully end whatever he’s got going on.
And here we are to the last week: Wednesday 4/30 I took Cooper BACK to the vet because the what I thought was a scab and healing from his last round of antibiotics had come off along with a little bit of tissue when I was cleaning it with a warm washcloth.
Again, they sedated my boy, cleaned and stitched up his wound but my vet thinks something is going on that she, nor her boss can figure out and diagnose. So she recommended that we go to UGA.
So after all this time, and money I have zero answers as to what is going on with my dog. However UGA will surly give me answers. I’m here because I am at the point I just need help. Tests are expensive and I’ve maxed out every card I have trying to figure it out, and still having no answers.
I do however know an initial price for a CT scan and the visit to UGA!
Anything I receive will be going directly to Cooper’s medical bills, and if I get answers and have leftover the rest will be donated to an animal rescue!
This unknown is scary especially because financially I don’t know what I’m about to get into but I know I need help! Which is why I started this go fund me. Anything would help, even if it’s just prayers and good vibes you’re sending ❤️
