Cooper is normally our fun-loving, howling boy who loves to play, cuddle, and bring joy to everyone around him. He’s the heart of our home, always ready for a game or a snuggle, and his goofy personality makes every day brighter. This morning, everything changed. Cooper woke up unwilling to even lift his head or wag his tail. Our big, sweet boy seemed to be in a significant amount of pain, and it was heartbreaking to see him so unlike himself.

After rushing him to the vet, we went through a series of exams, blood work, ultrasounds, and X-rays. The results were devastating: Cooper has bleeding in his spleen and free fluid within his belly. The only way to save him is through emergency surgery. The costs for his care are overwhelming, but we’re determined to do everything we can to give Cooper the chance he deserves.
