Our dog Cooper has always been the heart of our family—spunky, loving, and full of life. Recently, Cooper became very sick, and we found ourselves rushing him to five different vets, desperately searching for answers. Each visit brought new bills and more uncertainty, and it was heartbreaking to see him struggle while we waited for a diagnosis. After a stressful weekend and several incorrect diagnoses, we finally learned that Cooper has an obstruction in his intestines and needs surgery to remove it. To make matters worse, he even got skunked during all of this, adding to his discomfort and our stress.
The costs have quickly added up, from emergency visits to pre-surgery tests and now the surgery itself. My parents have always done everything for Cooper, but after facing their own challenges in recent years, this financial burden is overwhelming—especially as they work toward retirement. I’ve helped as much as I can, but it’s hard to watch them carry the weight of choosing between money and the dog they love so much.
Cooper means the world to us, and we want to give him every chance to recover and enjoy many more happy years. Any support you can offer will help cover his surgery, follow-up care, and ease the financial strain on our family. Thank you for reading our story and for considering a donation to help Cooper get back on his paws.
