Help Cooper Beat Leukemia

On Tuesday, March 3, Dustin brought Cooper to the doctor's office for unusual bruising resulting from a fall. After a series of blood tests, a diagnosis of AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia) was confirmed.
Cooper was admitted to VCU, where he began his first 28-day cycle of chemotherapy. He will be receiving 4-6 rounds of treatment over the next 4-6 months. With the shock of this news, there is still much to be determined regarding his prognosis and journey toward healing. With long stays at the hospital, aggressive treatments, and significant traveling, Jen and Dustin have never needed the support of family, friends, and strangers more – through prayer, encouragement, and action.
If you know Cooper, you know what a remarkably tender-hearted child he is. Even at six years old, Cooper stops to pray for those inside the ambulances that pass by on the road. He has already amazed us with his sweet-spirited resilience. God has big plans for this little boy, and we are believing for complete healing marked by miraculous intervention. We are believing that Cooper will know God as his Healer in the most intimate and powerful way.
Jen and Dustin are no strangers to trauma of this kind, as they almost lost their daughter Olivia two years ago to RSV. They have seen God heal, God provide, and God intervene. While their faith is strong, the battle is significant. They have a long and challenging road ahead: mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally.
Jen and Dustin are both on staff at Lifepoint Church in Fredericksburg, VA where they serve people and Jesus passionately.
Financial stress is real, and the cumulative medical costs are extensive. Please love this family in a simple and tangible way by contributing any amount that brings you joy. Not having to worry about the financial impact of this battle will allow them to focus their energies on Coop, whatever may come.
Please pray and believe wholeheartedly with us for Cooper's complete recovery.
