Help Cookie Take Time to Heal

Last week we had to let our puppy go. Bianca and my mom were on a walk in their neighborhood and another dog ran out from his yard and attacked her. Because she was so little, it didn’t take much to cause life-ending injuries. While my mom was wrapping her up to go to the emergency vet, Bianca was very scared and bit her hands pretty seriously. 

Obviously this has been a really horrible situation for everyone involved. We’re lucky to have such a strong community of Bianca lovers out there. The owner of the other dog has been incredibly caring and helpful throughout the entire process, and has enrolled his dog in a behavioral rehabilitation program. He also paid for the emergency vet and cremation expenses and has been very sweet in checking in on us and keeping us updated. 

My mom has not been able to work due to the injuries to her hands since the accident last Saturday, and won't be able to go back for at least another week. I would love to raise a little money so she doesn't have to worry about the lost wages while she heals. Thank you so much for the love everyone feels for our little dog and for my mom.
