Hi! My name is Cookie and I have IVDD stage 5. Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) is a spinal condition in dogs that occurs when the discs between the vertebrae in the spine degenerate. Due to this, I have lost all sensation in my back legs and lower back. I was given a 50/50 chance with spinal surgery to regain movement in my back legs and be able to walk again. This unfortunate situation came very unexpectedly. We are asking for your help and support for surgery, physical therapy and recovery. We would appreciate any help we can get. I can not wait to be able to walk and run and play with my family again.
