Two years ago, God gave me the opportunity of going on my first mission trip. It was such an eye-opening experience where I stepped out of my comfort zone, fostered genuine connections, and shared the good news of God with others. I witnessed God's incredible power first hand; I saw just how much the Gospel can open hearts and minds.

Last year, I went on a missions trip to Panama with members from my previous church. We met so many new people and experienced a new culture. Everyday was different, we talked with college students, acted out stories from the Bible, shared our testimonies, and met wonderful, faithful leaders and communities.

This year, I will go to Panama again with members from Augusta Chinese Christian Fellowship and members from Columbia Chinese Christian Church. We will be trained by local missionaries and evangelize to others. I hope to reach more people and spread the good news of God. I hope to demonstrate just how transformative knowing God is, just how powerful his love for us is, and just how gracious he is overall. I hope to go out and plant or water more seeds. I look forward to conversing with others, sharing more of my story, and taking what I'll learn from this trip and applying it to my life back in the U.S.
