In 1993, a dynamic and vivacious redhead captured the title of Little Miss Poultry Days while belting out lyrics to Kenny Rogers’ “The Gambler.” Tricia (Monnin) Carson loved all things Versailles and Poultry Days. She was an avid runner, skilled performer, active member of the St. Denis Youth Group and choir, and incredible friend.
Tricia went on to be named to the 2006 Miss Chick Court, serving as 2nd runner-up, and remained part of the community that supports Versailles Poultry Days. Tricia served her family, friends, and community well. She was full of compassion, strength, honesty, and openness. Her bubbly personality and love for life will be forever missed on this earth.
Tricia (Monnin) Carson passed away in January 2024 after a bravely fought, decades long battle with cancer. She leaves behind her husband, Derek, twin sons Carson & Pierce, family, and friends. If you're able, please join us in helping to create a legacy that continue to positively impact both the community and the arts that she loved so deeply.
