Help Continue Immigration Journey
Donation protected
Hey everyone, I don’t often ask for help, but I’m in a challenging spot right now with my immigration process. It’s been over a year, and while I’ve tried to prepare financially, we’ve hit some unexpected bumps along the way. My lawyer has informed me that I need to pay an additional $4,000 to USCIS to cover new forms for a work permit and travel permit. These forms are crucial for me to continue pursuing school and work here in the U.S., but I’m currently short on funds.
Living in Baltimore for the last 5 years has shaped me into the person I am today. I have found a community here and a home. But all this comes with the cost of not being able to see my family until I get my green card approved. My dream is to be able to visit them next summer, and I know it will be possible if I am able to get these funds.
I’ve been saving as much as I can because I knew costs could come up, but unfortunately, it’s still not enough to cover the total costs of both USCIS and my lawyer’s fees. Without family nearby and unable to visit them since 2022, this process has been even more challenging.
Anything helps really, even $5. I just want to be able to pursue a career and visit my family, and I know I will be able to with your help!
Thank you!
