As-salamu Alaikum,

We are currently building a small Masjid and Islamic Learning Center (Darra) in Banjaka Village, West Coast Region, The Gambia.

Alhamdulillah, we have already completed an important part of this project, the borehole. This has provided access to clean water for the community and for the construction process.

The project  of the Masjid and Darra has now begun. Sand has been purchased, bricks are being molded. The Work has stop due to lack of funding. 

We are urgently raising 5,000 Euros not to complete the entire project, but to ensure that construction continues without interruption while we keep fundraising for the remaining phases.

This amount will help us:

Continue brick production

Pay workers on site

Purchase essential materials

Maintain steady progress on the construction

If we are unable to raise these funds, the work will stop completely and restarting later will become even more difficult.

This Masjid will serve as a place of prayer for the community. The Darra (Islamic Learning Center) will provide children with a space to learn the Qur’an and Islamic teachings.

This is an opportunity for Sadaqah Jariyah, a continuous reward. Every prayer performed, every verse recited, and every child taught will be a source of ongoing blessings for those who contribute.
