Hello, my name is Connor, I am 16 years old and a freshmen in high school.  I have been nominated by one of my teachers to attend a week long program this July in Washington DC learning what is involved in protecting our national security.  

Some of the things I will get to do is tour the Pentagon, FBI headquarters and the Naval yard, among other sites.  I also get to visit the National spy museum as well as other related facilities.  There will also be a keynote address to my group by the director of the FBI.  

Everything about this week is geared toward learning what it takes to secure our nation and exploring career opportunities in the field of national security. 

I am very excited about this opportunity, but the tuition and travel are pretty expensive.  I would be very grateful for any financial assistance you may be able to offer so that I can attend  this amazing program.
