Help Connie Through Cancer and Pregnancy

Donation protected
Hello everyone! Most of you know by this time, but my cousin Connie was diagnosed last week with an aggressive type of colon cancer while also being 6 months pregnant. She goes into surgery next week and will be out of work for a minimum of 6 weeks, but potentially longer if there are any complications. We are humbly asking for help to get her and her fiancé through this time and through the rest of her pregnancy. They will both have lost wages (especially Connie as she is self-employed) and I'm sure a large amount of medical bills. Even just a share would be greatly appreciated! Below is Connie's post about it from earlier today,

This may come as a shock to everyone so I'm sorry for the heavy news. The last week has been a rollercoaster in a whirlwind but I'm sharing my story because I think it's important to bring awareness as I'm in a pretty rare and unique situation and I would appreciate everyone's support and I need prayer warriors at this time-
May 20th I went in for a partial colonoscopy (sigmoidoscopy) because I've been having GI issues for the last year and a half. Being 6 months pregnant I chose not to be sedated or anesthetized for it so I was able to view the whole thing.
There was a large gnarly looking mass that they took biopsies from. They suspected cancer and put a rush on the biopsy results. The following morning the results came back that it is confirmed it's cancer, an invasive adenocarcinoma. It is advanced and aggressive. I don't know what stage yet but imaging and surgery are the next steps.
I have a team of doctors working together to form a treatment plan since I'm in a delicate and rare position being pregnant with this diagnosis.
The good news is my CT scan 5/28 shows it has not metastasized! So hopefully I won't need to worry about further treatments, we will find out whether it is stage 2 or 3 after surgery
They want me in the hospital Sunday 6/1 to prep for surgery Tues 6/3 to remove the tumor and for a temporary colostomy bag that I can have reversed when I'm ready after the baby is born. There is a risk that surgery could put me into early labor and we also don't know if they will need to induce me early to start chemo (32-36 weeks) until we get the staging so let's pray it's stage 2
I'm doing ok, taking it one step at a time still processing all the news. I have a good support system helping me through this that I am grateful for. We're gonna get through this, it will pass. I'm focusing on the positive events coming up surrounding our wedding and baby
Please keep me, baby, and Josyah in your prayers and I'll try to keep everyone posted on this new journey.❤️
You are not too young to get screened. They are seeing more young people with this cancer at an alarming rate.
*If I do not answer or reply right away please know I just have a lot to manage right now and I'm trying not to get overwhelmed for the baby. I appreciate all your thoughts and prayers

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers! She is a strong woman and we have no doubt she will make it through this and come out stronger than ever!
