My name is Connie, and I am reaching out for help during one of the most difficult times in my life. Recently, my sister called to share heartbreaking news—my mom has been diagnosed with brain cancer. She told me that I need to make arrangements to come see my mom before she passes away. The thought of not being there for her, and not making the effort to say goodbye, is something I know I would regret for the rest of my life.

I am hoping to travel from Florida to Indiana to be with my mom and my family. The distance and the cost of travel have made it hard for me to get there on my own. I have not seen my family in a very long time, and being able to spend these precious moments together would mean everything to me. The funds raised will go directly toward my travel expenses, so I can be by my mom’s side and support my loved ones during this incredibly hard time.
