Help Connie Recover from Job Loss & Accident

Hi y'all, I'm Connie, and I’m reaching out for support during a very challenging time in my life.

On December 2nd, I lost a job that I had worked at for over two years. This was a difficult transition, but I was hopeful that I could manage the change. However, things took a turn for the worse when I was involved in a car accident two weeks later. As a result, my ability to get around has been significantly impacted, making it even harder to look for work or take care of essential errands.

I’ve been relying on unemployment benefits, but unfortunately, the amount I’m receiving is far less than what I was making before, and it has made it difficult to cover basic living expenses. On top of that, the company I worked for is appealing my unemployment claim for reasons that don’t seem fair, and I’m worried this could prolong my financial struggle.

I’m asking for support to help me get through this tough time. The funds I raise will go toward:

Covering living expenses (rent, utilities, groceries, etc.)

Transportation (getting a car/public transportation costs)

Medical expenses related to the accident

Any other financial burdens as I navigate this period of uncertainty
