Connie needs our help. My name is Kim and I am Connie's niece and our family is coming together to start this fundraiser in hopes of relieving some of the financial pressure from such an unexpected event.

Last week, the Indiana floods devastated Metamora, Indiana and left Connie facing an overwhelming loss. Her home, store and cottage were all flooded, turning places filled with comfort, memories, and everyday life into spaces damaged by water. In an instant, Connie was forced to face the heartbreak and uncertainty that come with a disaster like this, along with the many unexpected challenges of being displaced.

The funds raised will help Connie cover the urgent expenses that come with this flood, including the costs of being displaced, remediation for all three buildings, and the work needed to restore them to the way they were before the water damage. Every donation, no matter the size, will help ease the burden as Connie begins to recover and rebuild. If support goes beyond what is needed for Connie’s recovery, those extra funds will be used to help other Metamora neighbors who are experiencing the same losses and unexpected expenses.
