Support Connie After Losing Everything in the Palisades Fire
Donation protected
So many people have lost everything in the Pacific Palisades.
Connie Murphy and her daughter Brooke watched their apartment building burn on the news on the first night of the Palisades Fire. Escaping with her cat Jolene and her tennis shoes, Connie not only lost her home but also much of her income. As a personal trainer based in the Palisades, most of her clients have lost their homes. She also watched the community she grew up in burn to the ground. Her childhood friends and their families have lost their homes - there has been just so much loss.
Connie is worried about everyone else. She worries about her daughter (away at college) and how she is dealing with the loss. She is concerned about her neighbors, her clients, and her friends.
Connie is such an optimistic fighter. She has already bought new weights at Target and is preparing to return to work. She is already strategizing how she will find a new place and get back on her feet.
Connie would never ask for help, so we are asking for her. In fact, we are not making this appeal public on social media because we fear she will never talk to us again. She could kick our asses. But Connie will need our financial support to find an apartment, to bridge her income losses, to continue to pay for Brooke's college, to buy clothes, cat food, gas, and the occasional jelly donut.
Let's help this friend who gives so much to us and the Palisades Community!
We appreciate your consideration!
