Help Conner & Brady with Urgent Vet Bills
Donation protected
Hey everyone—my name is Kate, and I’m a close friend of Conner and his amazing dog, Brady. I know Conner wouldn’t ask for help himself, but I wanted to do this on his behalf because he and Brady mean so much to so many of us.
Yesterday, Brady suddenly started acting really strange—lethargic, not wanting to eat, drink, walk, or get up. Conner took his temperature and it was dangerously high, so he rushed him to the emergency vet based on a friend’s urgent advice. Brady was drooling and panting the entire car ride and even falling over. Once at Blue Pearl Animal Hospital in Clearwater, they ran extensive testing and found something heartbreaking: Brady’s body isn’t producing the blood cells it needs—none of them. All signs are pointing toward a possible bone marrow issue or cancer. Right now, he’s extremely low on all blood cell counts.
They’re doing more testing today—another ultrasound, additional bloodwork, and monitoring his high fever while keeping him on IV fluids, antibiotics, and medication. He stayed overnight on April 30, and they’re doing everything they can. But the results so far aren’t encouraging. Brady is only six years old, and this came completely out of nowhere.
The vet bills are already over $9,000, and they had to be paid upfront. Brady doesn’t have pet insurance—he’s always been healthy, and none of this was expected. If you know Brady, you know he’s everyone’s best friend. He’s more than a dog—he’s family.
We’re holding on to hope, and praying for a miracle. Anything you can give—whether it’s a donation of $5 or just a prayer—means more than you know. Let’s show up for Conner and Brady the way they’ve shown up for so many of us.
If there is any money raised beyond what is needed, it will be donated to a local animal shelter to help other pets in need.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
