Help Conner and Andrea After a Heartbreaking Diagnosis

UPDATES:
Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out to ask for help for two of the most incredible people I know, my brother Conner and his wife Andrea. They’ve been through so much already, and now they’re facing a devastating challenge.
Conner and Andrea have been trying to start a family for years, and after many ups and downs, they finally had a successful egg retrieval round of IVF. It felt like a miracle, the light at the end of a very long tunnel. But just as they were celebrating the good news, their world came crashing down.
Within hours, they received the results of a biopsy and learned that Andrea has been diagnosed with a life threatening form of endometrial cancer.
Because of the type and severity of the cancer, Andrea will within weeks undergo an early-life hysterectomy (removal of uterus, cervix, and fallopian tubes) and lymphadenectomy (removal and biopsy of sentinel lymph nodes for staging the cancer) with potential for a oophorectomy (removal of both ovaries). A heartbreaking and life-changing procedure, especially after just finding out their IVF was successful that will take away their ability to carry their embryos to term and have children.
After that procedure they will have to wait several weeks to learn what stage the cancer has reached and if additional treatments will be necessary or even effective, like chemotherapy. The emotional toll has been unimaginable, but they are holding on to hope.
Conner and Andrea have been inseparable since they met. They’ve built a beautiful life together — full of love, laughter, and their four adorable cats (who are honestly treated like their own children). When they’re not doting on their cats, they love spending time together taking walks around town and occasionally building Legos — their creative way of relaxing and escaping the stress of the world.
Now they’re facing the hardest challenge of their lives — emotionally, physically, and financially.
The medical bills from the IVF process were already steep and completely uncovered by insurance. Now they’re facing steep costs due to this cancer diagnosis for surgery, treatments, and recovery and trying to save money to afford a gestational carrier so they can finally start their family. The last thing they should have to worry about right now is money.
I’m asking for your help to ease the financial burden so they can focus on what really matters — Andrea’s health and their future family.
Any amount, no matter how small, would mean the world to them. Even if you can’t donate, sharing this with others would be a huge help. Let’s rally around Conner and Andrea and show them that they’re not alone in this fight.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️
