Hi everyone,
Our names are Liz Wimbush and Carter Jensen, and we are reaching out on behalf of our dear friends, the Hall family. This past weekend, their world was suddenly turned upside down. Connell, a vibrant and strong 14-year-old, was involved in a serious ski accident that left him with a broken femur and a traumatic brain injury. He was airlifted to Kamloops Hospital, where he spent several critical days in the ICU. Thankfully, he has now been released from the ICU, but he remains in the hospital and faces a long and challenging road to recovery.
For several days, Connell was unconscious. While he is now receiving the care he needs and showing encouraging signs of progress, the journey ahead will require time, strength, and extensive support. As if this were not enough, the Hall family has already been carrying a heavy burden. Connell’s mother, Shelley, is currently recovering from breast cancer, making this moment especially overwhelming for their family.
We are raising funds to help support the Hall family with medical expenses, travel costs, and the many unexpected needs that come with this traumatic situation. Any donation, big or small, will make a meaningful difference during this incredibly difficult time. Any extra or unused donations will be donated to the Apex Ski Patrol.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page and keeping Connell and the Hall family in your thoughts and prayers. Your love, support, and kindness mean more than words can express. ❤️
