Help Conifriends Plant Natives: Grow Spokane's Green Canopy

Donation protected
My name is Benjamin Rooney-Sailand & I am starting a local non-profit conservation organization, Conifriends, aiming to plant a healthy conifer canopy to enhance ecology around the Spokane area.

This winter season, I have personally afforded hundreds of healthy natives conifer sapling plugs from a variety of sources, including the Pitkin Forest Nursery, Asotin Conservation District, Spokane Conservation District, & JD Forest Management. These species include, Douglas Fir, Western Larch, Western White Pine, Western Red Cedar, Western Hemlock, & Blue Spruce.

Conifriends is looking to partner with the Spokane Parks and the Washington Trails Association this spring season for planting trees around the newly developed Trentwood trailhead of the Antoine Peak Conservation Area. Any donations support affording our collaborative efforts to plant local native conifers, according to the prescribed conservation plan, and help combat climate change.
