Hello! My name is Alyssa. I have a AKC german Rottweiler named Cona. She is one and a half. I took her to get vaccines from Petco April 8,2023 and she has been sick up until now (4/12/23) She is still very sick. I had to pay $280 at an emergency vet for them to tell me nothing is wrong and send her home with antibiotics. It has gotten worse since then. She is hyperventilating, cant walk, cant eat or drink. I am worried for her. I brought her to another vet where I paid $600. They told me there is fluid in her lungs and she needs to be hospitalized. She needs to undergo surgery because she has a pyothorax (puss in her lungs). They said they seen bacteria and I have no clue how that is caused. Im worried and I dont want my dog to die! I need help covering the vet fees so she can live. She is super young so I know she has a chance. I am a 20 year old MA and I also live alone so this is very costly! Anything will help. Please share.
