My name is Alisa Lee and on November 13th I will be 42! Hallelujah!!! ❤️

This year, in lieu of birthday gifts and wishes, I am asking all who are able to consider donating to a good cause and help complete the construction of a health clinic in Ghana.

The construction of the New Osu Community Health Clinic is being undertaken by Great Awakening International ( G A I ) to bring hope

and healing to the Osu community's children and residents through improved health and well-being. A Sod-Cutting ceremony took place on July 24th 2024, led by Molek Moshe, Dr. Kenneth Howard of GAI, along with commmunity leaders and Government representatives, including Dr. Zanetor Rawlings MP. As a demonstration of its commitment to uplifting the Osu community, GAI has allocated funds to facilitate the project's completion, which has currently reached approximately 60% completion.

The Scriptures encourage us to be open-handed toward the poor and needy. As Deuteronomy 15:10–11 (NIV) states: “Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to. There will always be poor people in the land. Therefore I command you to be openhanded toward your fellow Israelites who are poor and needy in your land.”

The Bible also reminds us in Matthew 25:35–40 (NIV): “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me... Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”

My husband, Josef Lee, and I have partnered with GAI in their efforts to live out the Scriptures not only in word but in deed. By the grace of God we went to Africa for the first time with them in July of 2024, and then again in January of 2025. Both times we fed those in need, partnered with orphanages and organizations that help widows, served the marginalized and spread the Good News! It was life changing. I tell people all the time I didn’t know how much I needed to go to Africa until I went.
