My name is Alexander aka Amitofu, and I'm a passionate fan of the Metal Gear Solid series. After informally creating an audiobook for the first novelization as a personal challenge, I discovered how rewarding it was to give something back to the fan community. That project allowed me to practice my voice acting skills and connect with others who love the series as much as I do.
Now, by popular request and out of my own enthusiasm, I'm working on a fan-read audiobook of the Metal Gear Solid 2 novelization—a book that, to this day, has never received an official audiobook. I've completed about 90% of the work myself, but there's one thing I can't do: convincingly voice the female characters. To make this project as authentic and engaging as possible, I'm reaching out to professional female voice actors to lend their talents to these important roles. I've also included some male Walla roles
Most funds will be compensating these voice professionals for their time and effort. Assuming we meet the goal, I will also pay for a professional copy of PDF X-change editor, which was indispensable for the first book, this book, and likely books I will read in the future; as well as I may commission a fan-artist to make the cover image for the video. I won't make any gainful profit from this project (none of it goes in my pocket other than the editor product license which I feel indebted to), as it's a true labor of love and a tribute to the Metal Gear Solid community.
