In Loving Memory of Mr. G

Hello my luvs, it’s Kayla G. I’m creating this fundraiser with a heavy heart after the unexpected passing of my dad, unfortunately on the day of my birthday. He was an amazing and interactive father. We spent so much time making music, building new inventions, and having fun. His passing has left our family not only heartbroken but also facing unexpected financial burdens.

We initially raised around $13,000 for the funeral. We now only need a few thousand more to fully pay for the funeral expenses.

So, my brother and I set up this fundraiser just to cover the entirety of the funeral.

On the day he passed, I received a call from him right before the accident. He called to say happy birthday, and we had a regular conversation, and then all of a sudden, he was gone. The day before, he dropped me off at the airport and hugged me, telling me he loved me. He said he’d see me when I got back, and instead of seeing my dad and lighting candles for my birthday, he was gone, and his lifeless body lingers in my mind.

I couldn’t describe the pain my brother and I have experienced. He lost a father, and my niece lost a grandfather. I lost my dad, the man who was supposed to walk me down the aisle and meet my children. Nothing could’ve prepared us for this day.
