Assalaamu Alaikum My Dear and Beloved Brothers and Sisters in Islam,
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
Allah ﷻ says:
“The Mosques of Allah shall be maintained only by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day; perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and give Zakat and fear none but Allah. It is they who are expected to be on true guidance”
[at-Tawbah 9:18].
The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said:
Narrated from Jaabir ibn ‘Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that “Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, like a sparrow’s nest or even smaller, Allaah will build for him a house in Paradise.”

I call for your aid and sadaqah to assist in completing a masjid located in a small town in northern Pakistan. It is the only masjid that serves this small community and it is need of your help to complete it.

Repairing mosques comes under three categories according to Shaykh Muhammad ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him), and he said:
- 1 - Cosmetic renovations for which there is no need. In this case there is the fear that the one who undertakes this task may be nearer to sin than to being safe from it, because if there is no need for it and the purpose is, rather, to beautify the mosque, then it is a waste of money with no benefit. The money which was spent on these renovations could have been spent on other mosques which the people could have benefitted from.
- 2 - Renovations which are needed but not essential, such as when floor tiles or plaster are cracked, but the mosque is standing. A person will be rewarded for this, because it is like cleaning the mosque, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded us to build mosques among the houses and to clean and perfume them.
- 3 - Repairs which are essential, such as when there are cracks in the walls of the mosque or in the beams of mosques built of reinforced concrete, and the like. This comes under the same ruling as building because these repairs are essential.
Masjid Bilal Ahmed Al Hashmi is in need of essential renovations and repairs, In Sha' Allah.
Completed Portion (Musallah)
Alhamdulillah a portion of the Masjid, the Musallah, has been completed and is beautiful Masha' Allah, but work is still needed to complete the Masjid.
The remaining portions of the Masjid that your donations will be for In Sha' Allah are listed as follows:
1. Addition of bricks that will be added to floor outside the Musallah
2. Replacement of the temporary Manarah with permanent structure attached and designed properly
3. Addition of two (2) rooms designed for Dars and Islamic Education
4. Renovation of fence walls, which includes painting and the repair of its structure and design
5. Permanent Wudu washrooms
6. Imam House which includes two (2) rooms, washroom, and kitchen
7. Overall painting and regular upkeep of the Masjid and grounds will be completed with any remaining funds from your donations, In Sha' Allah
