It was in this church that he began to be sanctified with us and reached us in his humility.

Therefore, we are fortunate, and now, in this generation, we must stand together to complete and inaugurate the newly constructed church.

Today, I come to you with the truth and plead sincerely. The church, which has been under construction for 13 full years until now, is nearing its completion.

When you go to Gishen Mariam, it will serve as a resting place for you. It is called Kutaber Debre Kidusan Abune Gebre Menfes Kidus Church. Our beloved traditional fathers — Abba Mefkere Seb’e, Melake Selam Mergiyaw, Melake Arem Abba Haile Mariam, and my grandfather Rese Debre Eshetu Gebre — all passed away without seeing its completion. Even now, the remaining elders may also pass without witnessing the fulfillment of their 13-year longing, unless we come together and act.

So, since we are planning to inaugurate it on Meskerem 18 /2018 EC [approximately September 28, 2025], and as there are many remaining tasks, we ask for your support both locally and abroad — as you began — in the name of the Righteous One.

ዛሬ የእውነቴን ነው የምላችሁ ድፍት ብዬ ልለምናችሁ ነው። እስከዛሬ ድረስ 13 ዓመት ሙሉ ሲሰራ የኖረው ቤተ መቅደስ ፍጻሜውን ሊያገኝ ዋዜማ ላይ ደርሰናል።

ወደ ግሸን ማርያም ስትሄዱ ማርፊያ ይሆናችኋል። ኩታበር አቡነ ገብረ መንፈስ ቅዱስ ቤተ ክርስቲያን ይባላል። ባሕታዊ አባ መፍቀሬ ሰብእ፣ መልአከ ሰላም መርጊያው፣ መልአከ አርያም አባ ኃይለ ማርያም እንዲሁም የእኔ አያት ርዕሰ ደብር እሸቱ ገብሬ ፍጻሜውን ሳያዩ አረፋብን። አሁንም የቀሩት አረጋውያን የ13 ዓመት ናፍቆታቸውን ሳያዩ ሳያልፉብን መስከረም 18 /2018 ለማስመረቅ ስላሰብን የሚቀሩን ብዙ ነገሮች ስላሉ እንደጀመራችሁት በውጭም በውስጥም ያላችሁ በጻድቁ ስም ተረባረቡልን።
