Ancestral Knowledge, a Nonprofit organization committed to preserving invaluable skills from our ancestors, is nearing the completion of a unique primitive camp, nestled beside the Shenandoah River in Harpers Ferry, WV.

We must think 7 Generations ahead if we want to make a difference.

This exciting facility is primed to be the new home of the Mid Atlantic Primitive Skills Gathering and a host of immersive educational events, promising a transformative experience. The team at Ancestral Knowledge has already accomplished a lot, erecting three integral structures within the camp: a spacious pavilion for group events, an outdoor kitchen for shared meals, and a covered structure set to be a bathhouse. They've judiciously used rented machinery to fortify the steepest section of the gravel road, laying gravel and cross drains to protect against erosion. But there's more to be done.
