My name is Nancy Smith, and I’m the proud founder of Compassionate Caregivers for ME, a dedicated in-home care agency serving families and seniors across Maine. Since opening our doors, we’ve been committed to delivering respectful, loving, and personalized care to our clients- treating every person as if they were our own family.
Now, we’re ready to take the next step- and we need your help.
We’re expanding to launch an Adult Day Program to serve even more seniors and families in need.
This new program will offer a safe, supportive space for seniors during the day - providing companionship, structured activities, nutritious meals, and continued personal care. It also gives much - needed relief to family caregivers who need to work, rest, or tend to other responsibilities.
Why This Matters:
Maine has one of the oldest populations in the country. Many families are struggling to care for loved ones. While also managing jobs, children, and their own health. An adult day program bridges the gap- keeping seniors engaged and supported while helping caregivers find balance.
What the Funds will Support:
• Renovating and equipping a safe, welcoming facility.
•Hiring and training staff
• Purchasing transportation, activity supplies, and furnishings.
• Securing licenses and meeting all state regulations.
• Offering sliding scale fees to families in need.
