My name is Kay, and I’m from Canada.

Like many of you, I’ve been heartbroken watching the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa — but I’m not just witnessing it from afar, I’m experiencing it firsthand.

I am here, on the ground, seeing the destruction and the pain this storm has caused to families and communities who have lost everything.

Families have lost their homes, entire communities are without power or clean water, and so many people are struggling to meet even their most basic needs.

I’m organizing this fundraiser to help provide immediate relief and long-term recovery for those impacted by the storm.

The funds raised will go directly toward:

• Emergency supplies such as food, clean water, and hygiene kits

• Temporary shelter and rebuilding materials for displaced families

• Medical assistance and essential care for those injured or in need

• Community recovery efforts to help people get back on their feet
