Guillaume est parti dans la nuit de dimanche à lundi, dans les bras de Laura et avec sa maman lui tenant la main. Nous étions plusieurs avec lui lors de son dernier souffle. Il n'a pas souffert et est parti comme il le souhaitait, chez lui, en paix, entouré de ceux qui l'aime, du moins ceux qui ont pu venir.
La cérémonie à Oakland est en train de s'organiser. Au moins une cérémonie est en train de s'organiser aussi en France. Nous vous tiendrons au courant des détails.
N'hésitez pas de nous contacter ou de contacter Laura ([email redacted]) et/ou la famille. Il est possible que les réponses soient lentes, mais vos mots et pensées sont bien appréciées.
Guillaume vous aime et il sait que vous l'aimez.

Hello all,
Guillaume passed Monday night (Tuesday morning), in Laura's arms and with his mother holding his hand. Several of us were there for his last breath. He didn't suffer and he left in harmony with his wishes--at home, in peace, surrounded by people who love him, at least by those who were able to be there.
The ceremony in Oakland is in the process of being organized. At least one ceremony is being organized in France as well. We will keep you updated on the details.
Don't hesitate to reach out to us or to contact Laura ([email redacted]) and/or the family. It's possible that responses will be slow, but your words and thoughts are much appreciated.

The outpour of love and support from friends and family touched Guillaume and Laura beyond words. As the days, weeks and months go on, please continue to surround her and Guillaume's family. Some other ideas of ways to help support our friends: bringing over a meal, going for a walk to get them out of the house, a little note to say you are thinking of them... just a few ideas :)
The donations to the GoFundMe account will be placed towards arranging ceremonies in both the US and France.
