Help Comic Hero Kurt Mitchell Stay Independent!

Today, we're reaching out for a genuine hero. Not the kind we read about in comic books, but a real-life, inspiring figure - Kurt Mitchel.

As many of you know, Kurt is a renowned comic historian who has devoted his life to bringing the magical worlds of superheroes, supervillains, and fantastical realms to us. His vibrant descriptions, insightful analysis, and unbridled enthusiasm have made us laugh, cry, and root for characters who have become an inseparable part of our lives. To say that Kurt is the ultimate hero of all time to many of us would be an understatement.

Despite being born quadriplegic, Kurt has spent his life defying limitations, challenging norms, and embracing his independence with a resilience and determination that could rival any superhero's. But now, our hero needs our help.

Kurt's special bed, tailored to his needs, is wearing out. The state, unfortunately, won’t cover the cost of a replacement. Without a new bed, Kurt faces the heart-wrenching prospect of moving into a group home, compromising his cherished independence.

That's why we've set up this GoFundMe campaign. We're looking to raise $3,000 to secure a new, fully adjustable medical bed for Kurt. This bed is far more than a piece of furniture; it's a lifeline, the cornerstone of Kurt's autonomy and wellbeing.
