Hello, my name is Esther, and I’m fundraising for my mother, Comfort, who is currently battling cancer.

My mother is a strong, loving, and selfless woman who has always put others before herself. She is the kind of person who gives even when she has little, supports everyone around her, and never complains. Seeing her now in this fight has been heartbreaking for our family.

My mother went to visit my brother in the UK and during her visit she fell sick and through MRI and a colonoscopy procedure, Drs revealed she had colorectal cancer and urgently needs medical treatment.

Unfortunately, since she is not a UK citizen, she doesn’t qualify for any government assistance and requires upfront payments for consultations, scans, medications, and ongoing care. These costs have added up, and despite doing everything we can as a family, we simply cannot manage them alone.

This situation has placed a heavy emotional and financial burden on our family as it is just myself and my brother. We are trying to stay strong for her, but the reality is that without support, her ability to receive timely treatment is at risk.
