My name is Kathy McConnell and I would like to tell you about a rescue in Cat Spring, TX, Columbus Rescue Dogs. They are a group of very hard-working women. Most recently, they took on four beautiful female mixed breed dogs that had lost their human to cancer. These dogs were the light of Miss Kim's life. Miss Kim was a great dog mom and took very good care of these girls. Freedom Run Express Transport went and picked the girls up from a boarding situation, brought the girls back to Cat Spring, where fosters picked each one of the girls up, took them home, and helped them get settled in and feeling as safe as possible. These four girls had been boarding for nearly a month. Now they start a new journey separately. Please make plans for your pets in case something happens to you. It is absolutely the most important thing out of love that you can do for your pets. Miss Kim had asked me a very long time ago if I could help with her pets if this cancer took her. I knew with the support that I had from Columbus Rescue Dogs that we would be able to accomplish Miss Kim's wishes for her girls. Thank you, Columbus Rescue Dogs, for all you do in our community. I have started this fundraiser to help them with vet bills. This group spends so much time saving dogs and rehabilitating those that need it.
