Hi. My name is Dave. Colton and i have been buds for a few years, though we have only met in person once, immediately after he had been kicked in the head at a punk show in New York City. Many folks coming across this fundraiser likely know Colton from his tireless work as an independent publisher, writer and graphic designer (regardless of whether or not he's comfortable being called those things.)

Colton lives in St Petersburg, Florida, which was recently hit by hurricane Helene in late September, and then Milton just over a week later. He lives with and is the primary caretaker for his mother and grandmother, who both suffer from chronic health problems. Their home flooded severely during both storms, with sewage backing up into the house during the second and causing extensive damage. All of their furniture, appliances and kitchen ware has been destroyed, as well as the majority of their clothes, family heirlooms and photos and countless personal belongings. In the wake of the last hurricane, they have been bouncing between short term rentals at no small expense.

We are raising funds to offset the costs of temporary accommodations, aid in house restoration expenses, and replace innumerable personal items, furniture and housewares destroyed in the flooding.
