This September, Morgan and Adam received news that no parent wants to hear. Colton, their 6 year old son, was diagnosed with Acute T-Cell Lymphoblastic Leukemia. The news was heartbreaking. After an 11 day stay in the hospital, Colton, Morgan and Adam returned home this past weekend, now faced with a future they certainly never saw coming. While much of what the next few years will look like for Colton and the Loetes is unknown, we are grateful that Colton has been responding well to treatment thus far. But, we also know this is a long journey that will be physically, emotionally and financially taxing on Morgan and Adam. Colton will undergo treatment over the next 2-3 years. While most will be outpatient, we anticipate Colton will have many stays in the hospital throughout this time.
We know that ultimately we serve a God who is bigger, stronger and more powerful than this disease, and we trust He will be there with Colton, Morgan, Adam, and all of our family throughout this journey. But we also know that Morgan and Adam are going to need others to come alongside them and help defray the insurmountable medical bills they will be facing over the next few years. We are forever grateful for anything you donate to help them cover the medical expenses they will incur over the next few years. Of course we also ask that you keep Colton, Morgan, Adam and Colton’s siblings in your prayers throughout all of this.
