On the afternoon of Monday July 20th while traveling down Rte.7 S through New Milford on a motorcycle, a man and his wife pulled out of Tractor Supply directly in front of Colton. The impact was unavoidable! He was seriously hurt and is lucky to be alive. He spent several days in traction at Yale, then underwent a 7hr surgery on his hip. He is now been released and the daily reality of the physical impact is very sobering, and a bit overwhelming. He has a very long road of recovery and rehab ahead. It will at very least be several months before he will be able to think about resuming some semblance of a normal and independent life. He needs our help to be able to take the time to heal properly and not be worried about day to day finances. Whatever you can contribute is received with the greatest appreciation and humility.
