Help Colton Recover: Surgery and Care

Most of you know my name is Colton. I'm having a huge surgery coming up and my mom and dad are gonna be off work for awhile to help take care of me. For those who dont know me here's a lil back story. My mom's water broke at 19 weeks. She was in and out of our local hospital till she was put in Vanderbilt at 23 weeks. I made my grand entrance at 27 weeks in March of 2018. Before my arrival we knew I would have some breathing and lung problems but had no clue about my facial abnormalities. I was born with a Cleft lip, pallet, cheek, and eye. I have no left jaw or ear. I was in the NICU for 5 months. I had my trach and gtube surgery when I was 3 months. I was a very sick little boy for the first year, more time there than at home. (Maybe home 3 weeks our of the first year) I have shocked the Doctors by doing everything they said I would never do. I had craniofacial synastosis where my plates fused together in my head before I was 1 and had to have my head reconstructed. Man... just a lot to tell but 23 surgeries we are at the one my mommy and daddy have been waiting on since we found out what all was wrong. My mommy cries every time I have a big surgery because I change a little every time. I'll be in Vanderbilt for awhile and mommy and daddy are gonna miss work.
