Help Colton Heal and Rebuild His Life

On Tuesday I found Colton delirious, naked and covered in bodily fluids. He has been in the ICU since then and is presently recovering from endocarditis, sepsis, a traumatic brain bleed, and deep leg wounds. It is expected that he will need to be in the hospital for “awhile” and will possibly go onto needing 24/7 care in a facility. We still do not know the long term mental effects but I hope and pray that he comes back to us.

Colton and I have two sons together and they love their dad very much and need him to stick around! We are hoping for the best outcome and that Colton seeks rehab after his release from the hospital or a care facility. It is no secret that Colton has struggled with drugs over the last few years (hello to us ending our marriage)and I am hoping that he views this as yet another chance to truly LIVE and be the man that his sons need him to be.

In the meantime, I am asking for support to help offset what I’m sure will be insane medical costs, out of pocket rehab costs, sober living or a nursing facility, Colton’s prior built up bills and expenses, extra childcare for when I am needed at the hospital or visiting, and even to help with gas, food, etc.

This is going to be a long, stressful, journey and truly anything helps to mitigate the large financial burden. Please help me to keep our ship afloat!
