Help Save Colt – Our Sweet Boy Needs Surgery

Hi everyone,

We’re reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for help for our baby, Colt.

As anyone who knows us you know Colt is not just a pet he is our baby, our best friend, and truly the heart of our home. Anyone who has ever met him knows he is truly the sweetest, kindest boy who just oozes love and affection. He has this way of making everyone feel safe, comforted, and loved without even trying.

On Tuesday we got the worst possible news of our lives. Colt has a large mass on his lung and needs lung surgery, likely followed by chemo in the weeks to come. Our time with him feels cut short and so unfair but this is his best shot at a normal rest of his life. The cost of the surgery alone is more than we can manage on our own. Asking for help like this is not at all easy for us, we pride ourselves on being the best pet parents possible and this time around it’s just a lot more than we can financially handle, but we would do anything for him so here we are swallowing our pride and asking for help.
