In an unexpected turn of events, Collis's life took an alarming twist when he was diagnosed with a severe aortic dissection that led to open heart surgery. We come together today to support him in his journey toward recovery and provide the financial assistance he needs.

 

For those who may not be familiar, an aortic dissection is a tear in the inner layer of the aorta, the main artery responsible for delivering vital oxygen- and nutrient-rich blood throughout the body. This condition is life-threatening and demanded immediate attention and immediate surgical intervention.

 

In other words, it was a serious situation that required immediate attention!
