My name is Collin from north valley reno off of stead, and I'm creating this fundraiser for myself and my family after the Hawk Fire turned our lives upside down. What started as a small fire grew within hours into a massive 10,000-acre blaze, and we were forced to evacuate the place where my wife, our son, our fur babies, and I felt safe. This has been heartbreaking and overwhelming, and we are now trying to figure out how to take the next steps forward after the fire and evacuation.

On top of everything, l've recently had two lung surgeries, and I'm still recovering. The medical debt from those surgeries has already put a heavy strain on us. Now, having to miss so much work because of recovery, the fire, and displacement has set us back even further financially.

We're doing everything we can to stay strong for our little family, but right now, we just need a little help to get back on our feet.

The support from this fundraiser will help us with temporary housing and the basic stability we are focused on keeping our family together, safe, and cared for as we are gone. Any help will make a real difference for us during this incredibly difficult time.
