Hi, my name is Lindie! I am a 19-year-old college student who just recently discovered my passion for fitness. My freshman year, although filled with great memories was also extremely challenging, especially for my relationship with my body and food. Being away from my support system back home and with no one to hold me accountable I really lost sight of myself. I decided that I wanted to fix my mental health and body image by working out, and I fell absolutely in love. Slowly but surely I gained my confidence back, and now I not only feel better mentally but physically as well. I am doing better in school, making more friends, and setting out on new adventures every day. I know that my experience is not unique among college kids, and I want to help others accomplish their physical and mental goals so that they don't fall into the same cycle of insecurity the way that I did. I have decided that I want to be a personal trainer, who will specifically design programs that are realistic and flexible for busy young people either in school or starting their careers. I believe I can do a lot of good in the world, but I need your help. It is expensive to get the certification, and as I mentioned I am a college student trying to get by. I live paycheck to paycheck as it is and every spare cent I have goes into tuition. If you want to help me reach my goal of providing wellness for others in the same situation as me, I would greatly appreciate it. I cannot do this without your help, any amount goes a long way!
